A little love...

I decided to make Lincoln's Valentines this year, and I think they turned out super cute!
For the boys in his class we had army men tied to red hearts.
There were also ones that said "I would catch a grenade for you" & "Love is a battlefield"

Then for the girls I attached these cute heart pencils to pink hearts.
Coming up with cheesy lines was hard! These also said "You're the write one for me" & If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be write"
Silly.

This afternoon me and big baby are going to the Valentines dance at Lincoln's school, where I'll take a hundred pictures. Because what could possibly be cuter than 4 year olds dancing??

Happy Valentines day lovers!

I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I'm awake, you know? -Ernest Hemmingway

I haven't been sleeping much lately.
Between Brooks spitting his paci out, then immediately realizing he urgently wants it back, and Lincoln thinking that 1, 3, and 5 am are the best times to ask the days most important questions,
I'm averaging about 4.5 hours a night.
You know whats worse than having the piss scared out of you by waking up to find a 4 year old staring at you in the dark?
That 4 year old wanting to discuss, at depth, what happens if you mix milk and water together.
The fuck? This isn't science class and I'm not Bill Nye,
GO BACK TO SLEEP!!
But seeing the love these 2 have for each other is almost...ALMOST...worth being awake for.
Just kidding, I'd pick the sleep any day.

Prepare yourself...

For an INSANE amount of pictures.
We just got new family pictures done, which was way over due.
On the 30th, Richard and I will have been doing it for 10 years (just kidding, mom, we waited for marriage, duh.), and we have like 2 pictures of us together.
It's sad, just gross and sad, really.
So here you go, an incredibly long post of pictures of me and my boys.

I'm obsessed with them. Every. Single. One!
Richard's sister's husband's sister-what does that make her to us?? Like sister-in-law twice removed? Or probably just nothing. Just a pal, I guess-whatever. Anyways, she took them and I love them.
That is all, just wanted to share!

So Sweet...

I got a Baby Bullet for Christmas last year, and have been waiting patiently for my little man to be old enough so I could puree the shit out of anything/everything.
That time has come.
Well, so far I've only pureed sweet potatoes, but soon enough I will be trowing all kinds of random stuff into this bad boy. And just look how happy he is about it:
Brooks, on the other hand, is a little skeptical. He's like "WTF is that guy all pumped about?? It's JUST sweet potatoes." Even so, he ate the WHOLE thing. I mean, look at those chubby cheeks...does he look like he's turning down food? No ma'am..
And just as a side note, I love this kid:
LOOK at that face!! I just want to eat him up.

Happy lovers day!

Hope you all have a fantastic valentines day today!!
No big plans in my life...though Richard and I did go to see the Pretty Things Peep Show this weekend.
And let me tell you, I can't think of anything more romantic than sword swallowing, fire breathing and burlesque dancing. If these guys are ever in your neck of the woods, I highly recommend catching their show. Donnie Vomit is a riot, and Heather Holiday is by far the cutest carni I've ever seen!

So anyways, enjoy the day. I now get to go to a Valentines dance. At a preschool. It's destined to be the cutest thing EVER.

Life keeps getting in the way...

I hear you wondering "What the hell could be so busy and important in her life to keep her away for so long??" Trust me,  I was wondering the same thing myself. I took a trip through my iPhone photos to remind myself what I've been doing for the past month and a half.
My mom had a birthday. I made delicious Shirley Temple cupcakes, even though she's well over the drinking age:)

We took a trip to Indy to visit my dear sister, and to see her new house.
We spent a day at the Children's Museum there.
Highlight of my day? Talking on the Barbie phone. Lincoln was content digging for bones.

art shows and more art shows.
Check out our shop, we have a lot of new canvases to get listed for the holidays.

Perfect Fall Festival weather. See that adorable child with his hair blowing in the wind? yeah, thats my kid:)
click the pic to see it larger...which I'm sure you want to do...as he is just too, too cute.

I did a raw food detox. Sounds crazy, but I would really recommend it. I was planning on doing another one the week after Fall Festival, since I succesfully filled my arteries with grease and an overload of sugar, but unfortunately, a little something got in the way...

In case you can't read that little window
I'M PREGANANT!!

The newest member to our little family will be making his or her debut in May, and we can not wait.
Lincoln wants a boy that we can name Robin so he can be Batman, but Richard and I couldn't care less.
We are just beyond pumped to have another baby.

I'll do my best to keep you all posted on the happenings,

My new obsession...

Tiny Houses!! Aren't they just the cutest things?? I NEED one in my life. I think it would be just perfect to have a tiny house to use as my.......workspace. Did you think I wanted to live in one?! No way. I need my space. I just want to park one in my backyard as a cute little getaway. Enjoy!

ahhhhhhhhhhh. Heaven.
