Richard and I started dating when I was 18, and like most 18 year olds, I fell hard. And what do you do when you truly love someone?? You make them a mix tape, duh.
And before you judge my song choices, remember that I was fresh out of high school, the year was 2003, and Ja Rule was popular.
Now, with that said, sit back and enjoy the smooth sounds of the
"I Love You, 2003" mix.

Haha! I love this playlist! I am pretty sure I made a couple of these for my high school boyfriend. One was even on one of those mini disks that people thought were going to be a big deal and ended up being crap technology! Good song choices! Ja rule... well... rules! :-D
You just made my day by sharing these songs. Thanks!
Okay really? Did you really think I was going to be rockin out to some Macy Gray, Jewel, Alanis, or, wait for it........LeAnn Rimes. Come on. There were a couple songs on there though that I liked.

Love your blog and love your mix tape! I absolutely loved that Alanis song! and Ja was the man for a minute, right? HOLLA (in my best scratchy, rough Ja voice.) Always thought that that Jagged Edge song was hilarious...what chick wouldn't want to get married (Come on girl, we ain't getting no younger...let's just get married!) Haha, amazing what passes for romance. But I was rocking out to it too, can't even lie!
I just found a box of CDs in our closet and it was full of Jagged Edge, Usher and Ja Rule.
All classics * hehehe *
