Happy Memorial Day!!!!

I love any day that gets me out of work, and to celebrate, have fixed a mighty feast of delicious deep fried goods! My husband and I are always of fan of wings, but decided to try them boneless this time. I also found an amazing recipe for fried pickles(yum!) at  http://elizabethsedibleexperience.blogspot.com/2009/03/in-pickle.html
Here is the flour mixture for the wings. It has paprika, crushed red pepper, black pepper, chili powder, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
This looks a little gross, but don't fear, they will turn into amazingness! We used chunks of chicken breast instead of actual wings, so they would be boneless. They get coated with the flour mixture, then refrigerated for an hour. Then you coat them again really good right before you plop them in the deep fry. About 6-8 minutes, and they should be done. Soak them in the sauce, then eat them up! The sauce we use is a mixture of butter and hot sauce, but there are a lot of great pre-made hot wing sauces you can buy.
Here are the fried pickles, and some fried mushrooms.

And the yummy finished wings!
Happy Memorial Day!!
